Office coming to iPad soon?

The Daily, a daily online publication for the iPad, says Microsoft is planning a version of Office for the iPad.
The Daily cited unnamed sources forthe report, which says Microsoft is "actively working on adapting its popular software suite for Apple's tablet. With the iPad making up more than 80 percent of the tablet market and millions of people worldwide using Office, that could mean big bucks for the tech giant based in Redmond, Wash."
Mary Jo Foley at ZDNet has some good thoughts on whether Microsoft could or should do such a thing.
A Microsoft spokeswoman said the company has nothing to share at this time.
