Windows InTune will start selling on Mar. 23

Posted by Sharon Pian Chan

Windows InTune, the new Microsoft cloud service to manage PCs for company IT departments, will start selling on March 23.

The subscription service will be available in 35 countries. Companies can also try it out free with a 30-day trial. The company announced the launch date in a Monday blog post.

Windows InTune could potentially displace what many information technology managers now handle, as well as compete with Microsoft partner companies that provide technology management services.

The company has been testing the service in beta since last year, and the test version will be available until April 18.
