New Microsoft tagline: "Be what's next"

Posted by Sharon Pian Chan

Microsoft has a new tagline: "Be what's next."

The company announced the new corporate slogan to employees at the Microsoft Global Experience conference in Atlanta this week, where it was reported by attendees on social network Twitter.

Lou Gellos, spokesman for Microsoft, said it will be the new tagline for Microsoft corporate, and will replace the current slogan: "Your potential, our passion."

Gellos also sent over this statement:

"This new tagline, 'Be What’s Next,' reflects the opportunity for our employees and our billion customers to join together in creating the future. In light of our expanding product mix and business focus over the past several years, a fresh articulation of our existing and near future consumer and business offerings was needed."
