Microsoft and HP start $250M server and cloud partnership

Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard are starting a $250 million partnership to simplify servers and cloud computing for business customers.
The three-year partnership will focus on three areas: making IT easier for businesses to manage, accelerate the adoption of cloud computing and to build what the companies are calling a new software model. The packaged solutions are available now.
Ballmer said in a statement the products will serve both large enterprises and small businesses.
