Microsoft "Bing" lights up Bellevue building

Posted by Sharon Pian Chan

A building in Bellevue has spelled out "Bing," Microsoft's search engine, in several stories of green lights visible from I-405.

The bing sighting came courtesy of my editor, Mark Watanabe.

The building is next to the new Bravern buildings at Northeast 8th Street in Bellevue, and the lights have been visible since Christmas.

Anyone have a photo of this? You can send it to me at schan@seattletimes.com and I will post it here.

Update 12:04 p.m.: Thank you to everyone who sent in photos of the Bing light up in Bellevue. Here is video of the lights from Microsoft on YouTube, although it does not look green to me.
