Windows 7 launch: Microsoft's new ad "Windows was my idea"

NEW YORK -- The new Microsoft ad that will start airing to sell Windows 7 takes the "I'm a PC" ads featuring regular people and extends it with "I'm a PC and Windows 7 was my idea." The ad, shown today right before CEO Steve Ballmer's keynote, features Windows customers and developers.
As I said in this earlier post, marketing products as something created by "me" is how many tech companies are chasing Generation Y, millenials, people born after 1980 who market resesarch says want everything customized to their tastes. It's the new Me generation.
Microsoft has not posted the ad but a YouTube user Hewvideo has uploaded it here:
