Microsoft acquires Interactive Supercomputing assets

Microsoft is buying the assets of Interactive Supercomputing, a parallel-computing company. The company will be rolled into the server division at Microsoft.

Bill Blake, ISC's chief executive, and other employees will join the Microsoft's research office in Cambridge, Mass., according to a blog item on Microsoft's server division blog and at Microsoft Pathways, which will now provide support for ISC's software Star-P.

This report was first spotted at TechCrunch, which heard about it through peHUB.
