Windows 7 selling for $29.99 to students

Posted by Sharon Pian Chan

Microsoft is slashing the price of Windows 7 to $29.99 for college students.

Students can get the special price by going to www.win741.com. The cryptically named Web site is not an area code. It's supposed to stand for "7 for one," as in Windows 7 for one person.

The offer lasts until Jan. 3.

It's so cheap, Kylie could almost afford it.
