Just discovered I talked to Maggie and Jake Gyllenhaal's dad last night.

Posted by Andrew Matson

Didn't know who he was. He is famous, and I have previously enjoyed his work. (Watched that with my parents. Remember it being really good.)

"Oh, you blog for Huffington Post? Cool," said I, oblivious. We chatted about Twitter, embeddable widgets that sell things, and how American banks are one big Ponzi scheme. Very nice man. I demanded he look at my blog. Wonder if he will.

I guess that's one of the infinity things that can happen when you see Sir Richard Bishop at the Croc and take a pizza break at Via Trib.
