Not much to choose from hitting-wise between the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Yankees. Both teams can go toe-to-toe in a slugfest and have bullpens that make their own mothers nervous. That means starting pitching might decide this one. We talked last week about Cole Hamels needing to step it up for the Phils. But the Yankees might have an even bigger impediment to a title in their own rotation: a guy being paid as a big-game pitcher who has arguably never won a big game in his life.

If I was a Cleveland Indians fan, it would be tough to watch CC Sabathia face Cliff Lee in game 1 of the World Series tonight.  Posted on October 28, 2009 at 11:35 AM by The Crappy Totals. Jump to comment
