Tonight's lineups, Mariners vs. Orioles
Posted by Larry Stone
Wouldn't you know it -- the Orioles today called up reliever Kam Mickolio. He's one of the pitchers the Mariners gave up in the Erik Bedard trade. One of the others, Chris Tillman, is expected to be up early in the second half -- shortly after pitching in the Futures Game in St. Louis -- to join the Orioles' rotation. I won't mention that Adam Jones made the All-Star team, or that George Sherrill, who made it last year, was under strong consideration.
Mickolio ws 2-3 with a 3.21 ERA in 27 games for Norfolk. He replaces Chris Ray, who went on the 15-day DL with right triceps tendinitis.
