past Reno, 9-1
RENO, Nev. — Prentice Redman drove in five runs with a single, double and triple and Bryan LaHair went 4 for 5 to help Tacoma crush Reno 9-1 in a Pacific Coast League game Thursday night.
Redman's bases-loaded triple highlighted a five-run ninth inning by the Rainiers (50-55). The game was scoreless through five innings.
LaHair is 8 for 9 with three home runs in the past two games for Tacoma. He leads the team with 21 homers.
Chris Seddon (6-5) allowed five hits in six scoreless innings to get the victory. Randy Messenger pitched a perfect ninth for his 21st save.

YAKIMA — Two Yakima relievers allowed one hit and struck out six over four scoreless innings as the Bears beat the Everett AquaSox 5-1 in a Northwest League game.
Everett (24-16) had only four hits, including a pair of doubles by Mario Martinez.
