EVERETT — Tri-City scored eight runs off Everett starter Chris Kirkland, then held on for an 8-5 victory over the AquaSox in a Northwest League game Friday night.

Kirkland fell to 2-2 and his earned-run average rose from 2.50 to 3.90 after allowing eight earned runs over five innings.

Ryan Royster hit his fifth home run of the season, a three-run shot, for Everett.

The AquaSox had 15 hits to 10 for Tri-City.
