Rainiers taken down by Aces, 4-3

RENO, Nev. — John Hester hit two doubles and Chad Tracy hit a go-ahead RBI triple in the eighth to lift the Reno Aces to a 4-3 win over the Tacoma Rainiers in a Pacific Coast League game Sunday at Aces Ballpark.
The Aces took down the Rainiers (36-40) by one run for the second straight game.
Denny Stark (0-1) took the loss for Tacoma after giving up one run in two innings of relief.
Brad Nelson and Michael Saunders each went 3 for 4 for Tacoma.
Emeralds 5, AquaSox 4
EUGENE, Ore. — The Eugene Emeralds rallied from a 3-0 deficit to defeat the Everett AquaSox in Northwest League action.
Jose Rios (0-1) gave up two runs — both earned — on four hits in one inning of relief to take the loss for Everett (5-4), which had a three-game winning streak snapped.
