TACOMA — Bryan LaHair's run-scoring single capped a three-run ninth inning for the Tacoma Rainiers, who rallied to beat the Las Vegas 51s 8-7 in a Pacific Coast League game Friday night at Cheney Stadium.
The Rainiers (35-38) entered the ninth trailing 7-5. Prentice Redman drew a leadoff walk, then advanced to third on a Michael Saunders double. Jeff Clement singled, scoring Redman, and Saunders came in with the tying run on a wild pitch.

EVERETT — Hawkins Gebbers hit a two-run home run in a four-run first inning for Everett, and the AquaSox went on to defeat the Spokane Indians 5-1 in Northwest League action.
Guy Welsh and Welington Dotel each drove in a run for the AquaSox (4-3) in the first inning, and Mario Martinez added an RBI single in the seventh.
