Straight Outta Issaquah

Did you know Ken Griffey Jr. raps, too?

In 1992, Griffey cowrote and recorded "The Way I Swing" with Kid Sensation, a local hip-hop, uh, sensation. You can find this catchy little tune on YouTube.

Here's a sample of the lyrics, rapped by Griffey:

"Ken Griffey is a swinger, not a singer;

"A def rhyme bringer;

"A home-run hitter but I'm not a dope slinger."

OK, it's not Public Enemy or N.W.A., but it's better than "Super Bowl Shuffle" or anything by Shaq.
