PORTLAND — Craig Wilson hit a grand slam in the first inning and four Tacoma pitchers combined on a three-hitter as the Rainiers beat Portland 11-1 in the Pacific Coast League Saturday night.
Kevin Howard hit a two-run homer, his fourth home run in the past three games, and Shawn Garrett had a three-run shot for the Rainiers (72-62).
Rich Dorman, Denny Stark (2-0), Justin Thomas and Jon Huber pitched for Tacoma.
