TACOMA — Kevin Howard homered twice, and Craig Wilson and Shawn Garrett also went deep for the Tacoma Rainiers, who defeated the Las Vegas 51s 10-3 in Pacific Coast League action Friday night.
The Rainiers (68-58) got all the runs they would need in the second inning, when Wilson sent a solo shot to left field and Howard's first blast of the night also brought home Rob Johnson and Jon Nelson for a 4-0 lead.
