BOISE, Idaho — At least it started well for the Everett AquaSox.

Everett scored two runs in the top of the first inning, but Boise came storming back for a 16-5 victory in a Northwest League baseball game Wednesday night.

The Hawks took the lead with three runs in the second inning, then took control with five runs in the third, one in the fourth and seven in the sixth.

Everett's Kenn Kasparek, a 6-foot-8 right-hander, took the loss by allowing two earned runs in two innings. He had been 2-0 and had not allowed an earned run in 10 innings.

Kyler Burke had four hits for Boise.
