Wladimir Balentien homers twice for Rainiers
Wladimir Balentien homered twice and Prentice Redman went 4 for 5 with a home run as the Tacoma Rainiers beat Las Vegas 11-6 in a Pacific Coast League game Friday night.
LAS VEGAS — Wladimir Balentien homered twice and Prentice Redman went 4 for 5 with a home run as the Tacoma Rainiers beat Las Vegas 11-6 in a Pacific Coast League game Friday night.
Balentien hit two-run homers in the third and fifth innings. He's batting .238 with 11 homers for the Rainiers after being demoted to Class AAA by the Mariners last month.
Redman, the Rainiers' leadoff batter and left fielder, lifted his average to .324 with four hits.
Matt Tuiasosopo was 3 for 5 with a double for Tacoma (46-49).
