Everett's Dennis Raben finally cooled down some and the Aqua Sox dropped a 6-1 decision to Tri City on Wednesday night in a Northwest League game.

PASCO — Everett's Dennis Raben finally cooled down some and the Aqua Sox dropped a 6-1 decision to Tri City on Wednesday night in a Northwest League game.

Raben, the Mariners' second-round draft pick last month, had started his career on a 10-for-12 tear but was 1 for 4 Wednesday, lowering his average to .688.

Walter Suriel (2-2) took the loss, allowing five runs (four earned) and 10 hits in 4-1/3 innings.
