All-time Mariners managers
In the 1980s, the M's used to fire managers in midseason just for sport. The first six managers were fired in midseason (not counting Marty Martinez, who was interim skipper for one game in 1986).

Until Thursday, though, it had been two decades since an in-season firing. That changed when the M's dumped John McLaren, the first manager to be fired by the team in midseason since Dick Williams in 1988. | ||||
