OMAHA, Neb. — Victor Diaz hit two home runs for the Tacoma Rainiers, who edged the Omaha Royals 6-4 on Monday night in Pacific Coast League action.
Diaz's two-run shot in the third inning put Tacoma (20-17) ahead 5-1, and his fifth-inning solo shot capped the Rainiers' scoring.
Knuckleballer R.A. Dickey (2-4) picked up the win, allowing four runs — three earned — on 10 hits while walking one and striking out four.
