TACOMA — The Oklahoma RedHawks scored three runs on bases-loaded walks in the ninth inning, breaking a tie and leading to a 6-3 victory over the Tacoma Rainiers in a Pacific Coast League game Saturday night.
With the score tied at 3-3, Oklahoma's Jason Ellison was walked by Roy Corcoran to load the bases with one out. After Ryan Roberts struck out, Corcoran walked Nelson Cruz, Nate Gold and Kevin Mench on consecutive at-bats, scoring three runs. Then, Corcoran and Tacoma manager Daren Brown were ejected.
Oklahoma's Elizardo Ramirez allowed three runs on three hits in 6-2/3 innings. Tacoma's Robert Rohrbaugh allowed two earned runs in six innings.
