WALLA WALLA, Wash. —

A second inmate fight in a week renewed lockdowns at the Washington state Penitentiary at Walla Walla.

The Department of Corrections says four officers suffered minor injuries breaking up a Saturday night assault in the commons area of a unit in the West Complex, the prison's second-highest custody level. The fight was between two inmates with handmade sharpened weapons.

All four units in the West Complex were locked down. They also were locked down last week after Tuesday night assault in which one inmate was injured.
