A state Department of Corrections spokesman says a Shelton prison officer accused of domestic violence in Tacoma won't be allowed back at the Corrections Center until his case is resolved.
Spokesman Chad Lewis told The News Tribune ( http://is.gd/ZY8jgG) the man has been Corrections Department employee for nearly seven years.
His wife asked for help Monday at a school where they had dropped off a child. The man drove off. The incident led to a lockdown at two Tacoma schools and at the prison in Shelton.
The man surrendered after a standoff and was jailed for investigation of domestic violence and eluding a police officer.
