In his last three games, the first-half shooting efforts by Washington's Terrence Ross were forgettable.
And in the second half, taking nearly the same shots, Ross has been unstoppable.
Streaky doesn't even begin to describe the last three games for Washington's sophomore swingman with NBA potential.
Against Washington State, California and Stanford, Ross scored a combined eight points in the first half and shot 13.6 percent. In the final 20 minutes of those three games, he scored a combined 55 points, including 26 against the Cougars, and shot nearly 60 percent.
Washington coach Lorenzo Romar doesn't have an explanation for Ross' streaky ways. But he'll continue to need Ross' scoring as the Huskies head to the desert this weekend, facing Arizona State on Thursday and Arizona on Saturday.
