Families with children on the free-lunch program may be eligible for subsidized Internet service from Comcast.

The program, called Internet Essentials, offers Internet service for $9.95 a month and computers for $149.99. Taxes are not included.

To be eligible, children must be enrolled in the National School Lunch Program. Other conditions apply.
