RENTON, Wash. —

Renton police have demoted two officers and reprimanded two others over a video cartoon lampooning city employees that was posted on the Internet.

KOMO reports ( http://bit.ly/nNOOks) a sergeant who posted the video was demoted to officer and a deputy chief who knew about the video was demoted to sergeant. Another sergeant and acting sergeant were reprimanded for not sharing their knowledge of the video.

Police said Monday that eight other cartoons are still the subject of an internal investigation.

Police had been treating the case as cyberstalking but dropped the criminal investigation last week.
