Blue Angels arrive in Seattle for Seafair performances
The Blue Angels arrived at Boeing Field Thursday for Seafair performances this weekend. They will be in the air practicing on Thursday for shows Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and that means closures for Interstate 90.

The Blue Angels arrived at Boeing Field on Thursday for their annual jaw-dropping Seafair performances this weekend.
The famous F/A-18 Hornets will be in the air practicing over Lake Washington 10 a.m.-noon and 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Thursday, then performing 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The practices and performances will close Interstate 90 between Island Crest Way on Mercer Island and Interstate 5 in Seattle to all vehicles. Closures will be 9:45 a.m.-noon and 1:15-2:30 p.m. on Thursday and 12:45-2:40 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
For pedestrians and bicyclists, the I-90 bridge will close up to 30 minutes before the times listed above.
The express lanes will close at 9 a.m. Thursday and 10:45 a.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The express lanes will open to eastbound traffic at 3:30 p.m. each of those days.
