Six newspaper boxes have been set on fire in the past two days, according to the Seattle Fire Department.

On Tuesday night, three boxes were set ablaze in the University District, one on Northeast 45th Street and two on University Way Northeast.

Wednesday night, three boxes were set on fire in Capitol Hill on Broadway Avenue East and East Thomas Street. Both sets of fires occurred early in the morning, around 2 a.m.

The fires are being investigated by the Seattle Police Department. Damages were estimated at less than $200.
