Breezy, rainy conditions are expected to last into Monday around Western Washington, bringing high winds to coastal areas that could generate waves as high as 30 to 35 feet.
The National Weather Service has issued a high-surf warning through the evening for much of the Washington and Oregon coasts, said meteorologist Chris Burke.
Scattered power outages around the Puget Sound area kept crews busy Sunday. About 2,300 customers in the Woodinville area were without power briefly in the morning, said Davina Gruenstein, spokeswoman for Puget Sound Energy, with about 300 still without power by evening.
The Cascades in Washington and northern and central Oregon, meanwhile, could receive the first significant snowfall of the season above about 4,000 feet. Winter-storm warnings have been issued for high-elevation areas.
