BELLEVUE, Wash. —

Republican Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown is the guest at a Bellevue fundraiser for GOP Senate challenger Dino Rossi.

The event was scheduled for Tuesday evening. Brown gained a national profile by winning the Senate seat of the late Ted Kennedy in a traditionally Democratic state.

Rossi is challenging incumbent Democrat Patty Murray. Their race is competitive and being watched nationally as Republicans try to make major gains in Congress.
