YAKIMA, Wash. —

Hundreds of law enforcement officers are expected to take part in a procession and attend Friday's service for three Washington State Patrol employees killed in a house fire at Zillah.

The procession of police vehicles assembles at 10 a.m. at the Sunnyside Community Center and proceeds on I-82 to Union Gap and then to the SunDome for the 1 p.m. service.

Trooper Kristopher Sperry, Trooper Gary Miller and Communications Officer Anne-Miller-Hewitt died of inhaling smoke in the Aug. 16 fire at the Millers' home.

The 55-year-old Miller was a veteran state trooper. His 54-year-old wife headed the agency's emergency call center in Wenatchee. The 30-year-old Sperry was a rookie staying temporarily with the Millers.
