Wash. bounty hunter joins search for teen bandit
The mother of an elusive teenage bandit says an Everett bounty hunter's efforts to find her son are nothing more than a publicity stunt.

The mother of an elusive teenage bandit says an Everett bounty hunter's efforts to find her son are nothing more than a publicity stunt.
Bounty hunter Mike Rocha addressed a crowd of about 200 people at a school gymnasium Tuesday night in the town where Colton Harris-Moore grew up. He said he hopes to persuade the 19-year-old fugitive to surrender voluntarily.
Harris-Moore has been on the run since he escaped from a Renton group home in April 2008. Since then, he's suspected of breaking into homes and business in five Washington counties, British Columbia and Idaho. Police also believe he's taken four planes, luxury cars and power boats.
The Herald of Everett reports Harris-Moore's mother - Pam Kohler - says that she twice met with Rocha, and told Rocha she wouldn't cooperate.
Kohler says Rocha is seeking publicity for his company.
