Lewis-McChord soldier dies in Afghanistan

A soldier assigned to Joint Base Lewis-McChord was killed Thursday in Afghanistan when a vehicle he was in rolled over, according to the Defense Department.

A soldier assigned to Joint Base Lewis-McChord was killed Thursday in Afghanistan when a vehicle he was in rolled over, according to the Defense Department.

Spc. Anthony A. Paci, of Rockville, Md., died at Gereshk, Afghanistan, of injuries suffered in the incident.

Paci, 30, was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 17th Infantry, 5th Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
