Gig Harbor woman killed in car accident
A Gig Harbor woman was killed Sunday night when she was thrown from a car and suffered head injuries.
A Gig Harbor woman was killed Sunday night when she was thrown from a car and suffered head injuries.
Diane Dorsey Racine, 57, was a passenger in a 2000 Ford Escort driven by her 21-year-old daughter, also from Gig Harbor. The Kitsap County Sheriff's office said the driver lost control traveling westbound on Lake Helena Road in South Kitsap about 7:30 p.m.
The daughter was taken to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Tacoma with nonlife- threatening injuries.
