Washington state troopers arrested a reality TV star Thursday night on suspicion of driving drunk, officials said.
Jake Harris, 24, a deckhand on Discovery Channel's "Deadliest Catch" and son of co-star of the late Capt. Phil Harris, was booked into King County Jail and remained there overnight Thursday, said Dan McDonald, a spokesman for the Washington State Patrol. Phil Harris died Feb. 9 after suffering a stroke.
Judge Aaron Rocke found probable cause for the charges in a Friday hearing and set bail at $1,500, according to court documents.
Troopers first stopped Harris' BMW 3 Series at about 9 p.m. for driving erratically on southbound I-5 in Shoreline, McDonald said. Police said Harris was driving on a suspended license, failed field sobriety tests and refused a Breathalyzer test.
