UW is top school for alumni serving in Peace Corps
The University of Washington again topped the ranks of graduates volunteering with the Peace Corps.
The University of Washington again topped the ranks of graduates volunteering with the Peace Corps.
The UW has 101 undergraduate alumni serving in the Peace Corps, which tops University of Colorado in Boulder, which has 95.
The Peace Corps also reports that the UW has 17 graduate-school alumni volunteers, which ties the University of Texas in Austin for the top ranking.
Historically, according to records that go back to 1961, the UW has had 2,614 Peace Corps volunteers, which ranks the school third on the all-time list behind the University of California at Berkeley and the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
