PARKLAND, Wash. —

Authorities say the four Lakewood police officers shot to death Sunday hadn't received any threats.

Pierce County Sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer says the victims were a patrol squad made of up of three officers and their sergeant.

Troyer says no threats had been made against them or other officers in the region.

The four were gunned down Sunday morning in a Parkland coffee shop. Troyer said there were no warnings and the officers were taken totally off-guard.
