Arizona man found dead along S. Ore. forest road

Authorities say they've found the body of an Arizona man whose car was found stuck in the mud on a remote road in Southern Oregon.

SUTHERLIN, Ore. —

Authorities say they've found the body of an Arizona man whose car was found stuck in the mud on a remote road in Southern Oregon.

The Douglas County sheriff's office says there was no indication of foul play in the death of 71-year-old Frank Sjursen. Public records list his address as Gold Canyon.

He was reported missing on a trip to Seattle, leaving home on Wednesday.

Using coordinates from a vehicle location system, authorities found the locked car on a forest road 15 miles northeast of Sutherlin just after midnight Friday.

On Saturday, the sheriff's office said, searchers found the body in a drainage nearby.
