US man wanted for ecoterror sentenced in China
U.S. officials have told Chinese authorities that they are interested in prosecuting an American sentenced to prison in China on drug charges.

U.S. officials have told Chinese authorities that they are interested in prosecuting an American sentenced to prison in China on drug charges.
Mark Bartlett, the first assistant U.S. attorney in Seattle, said Saturday it's not clear when or how 30-year-old Justin Franchi Solondz will return to the U.S. to face ecoterrorism charges. Solondz was indicted in California and Washington state in 2006 in connection with arsons attributed to radical environmentalists.
The U.S. has no extradition treaty with China.
Chinese and U.S. officials say Solondz was sentenced Friday to three years in a Chinese prison. Bartlett says Solondz was arrested in China during a drug investigation in March.
