Mindset an issue for skidding Seahawks
The Seahawks have plummeted past trying to win games. They are trying to keep themselves from accepting all their losing.
AP Sports Writer
The Seahawks have plummeted past trying to win games. They are trying to keep themselves from accepting all their losing.
Coach Jim Mora said Monday following Seattle's 35-9 blowout loss at Minnesota that he is counting on quarterback Matt Hasselbeck and other veteran leaders of his 3-7 team to ensure others do not get resigned to failure.
The former coach of the Atlanta Falcons is in his initial season leading the Seahawks. This is the first time in his four years as a head man he's been four games under .500.
He says the issue of whether the Seahawks are accepting failure is "a legitimate question." Seattle is 7-19 over the last two seasons.
