Snoqualmie Pass closing for avalanche work

Snoqualmie Pass is being closed starting at 3:30 p.m. today for avalanche control, according to the state Department of Transportation.

Snoqualmie Pass reopened about 4 p.m. today after being closed for avalanche control, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The pass closed eastbound at Gold Creek, four miles east of the summit, and westbound at Price Creek, nine miles west of Easton.
