A power outage in Seattle's Rainier Valley delayed Sound Transit's light rail service between downtown Seattle and Tukwila during a half-hour period.
Sound Transit released an alert just after 6:30 p.m. that light rail service would be operating with delays due to the outage on Martin Luther King Jr. Way South. Normal service was resumed shortly after 7 p.m.
A Seattle City Light spokesman said the outage, reported at 6:20 p.m., was impacting about 4,600 customers from South Alaska south to South Norfolk streets, and from Lake Washington west to Airport Way South.
