Possible opponents for Hastings, Murray
A 33-year-old former Marine from Kennewick plans to run next year against Congressman Doc Hastings in the district that includes Tri-Cities and Yakima.
TRI-CITIES — A 33-year-old former Marine from Kennewick plans to run next year against Congressman Doc Hastings in the district that includes Tri-Cities and Yakima.
Jay Clough is a Central Washington University graduate who works for Washington Closure Hanford. He has never run before for office.
And, Connell farmer and former Washington Redskin football player Clint Didier says he's exploring a run against Sen. Patty Murray. He told KONA he will need $300,000 by the end of December to enter the race.
He says the Republican party needs to have a sense of urgency to make a successful bid for the Senate seat.
