Shoreline man killed by part of falling tree
A 40-year-old Shoreline man was killed instantly at about 7 o'clock Thursday evening when he was struck by part of a falling tree as he and his wife walked their dog in woodsey Hamlin Park in Shoreline.
A 40-year-old Shoreline man was killed instantly at about 7 o'clock Thursday evening when he was struck by part of a falling tree as he and his wife walked their dog in woodsey Hamlin Park in Shoreline.
Windy weather may have contributed to the accident, Shoreline Fire spokeswoman Melanie Granfors said.
The park is at 15th Avenue Northeast near Northeast 160th Street.
The man's identity was not disclosed Thursday night, and other details were not available.
