Mora's message to Seahawks: Don't give up

He's releasing veterans, including Edgerrin James, the NFL's active leading rusher. He's warning those who are left about their jobs.
Jim Mora sent another clear message to his flopping Seahawks when Seattle's new coach left quarterback Matt Hasselbeck and his broken ribs in for Sunday's entire blowout loss at Dallas: I'm not quitting on this season. You'd better not either.
That message worked in his first season with Atlanta in 2004.
Mora said he told his Falcons at halftime of a blowout loss that year that they weren't punting in the second half, to show they weren't giving up.
The following week Atlanta trailed 14-3 at Denver, then won going away. They ended up in the NFC title game.
