2-alarm Arlington strip mall fire burns 4 stores
A two-alarm fire has burned four businesses in a strip mall near Arlington and left two more with water damage.

A two-alarm fire has burned four businesses in a strip mall near Arlington and left two more with water damage.
The fire was reported about 3 a.m. Monday at Smokey Point Plaza. Smoke and flames were visible from Interstate 5.
The fire has reportedly burned a pawn shop, restaurant, music store and loan office.
There were no injuries.
The fire apparently started in the pawn shop. Arriving firefighters heard what sounded like ammunition exploding.
There are no reports of injuries, no damage estimate or word on the cause.
Fire Chief Jim Rankin says it will be a lengthy investigation.
