RICHLAND — A dog belonging to a Richland family involved in a fatal crash Sunday remained along I-82 near Wapato for two days until it was struck and killed.

The Tri-City Herald reports friends of the family had looked for the dog after the crash that killed Audry Ulrich and her 2-year-old son and sent other family members to hospital.

After reports the 9-month-old German shorthair named Lula was seen Tuesday in the area of the crash, a friend went looking and found the dog had been hit by a car.
